Scarcity is good for life. It makes us learn how to survive, with whatever we have. Possessing too many things is not always good. It often distracts us from the essential things about life.
The state of comfort, fulfilled and settled is killing the life itself.
Life is about struggling, climbing higher, fighting till the end and excel to win different challenges.
Keeping yourself unstable and scarce yourself does not mean to mess up with your life and bring it into a chaotic and disorder situations. It is about always moving to the higher level and avoid being stuck in a "local minima"/"local maximum" and then being a stagnant and afraid to leave the comfort zone, and never find your way to the "global minima"/"global maximum" (whichever direction you define you're life is going to).
You can always challenge yourself by excel yourself to bigger battlefield: being better, reaching higher, contributing more, spreading good things wider, and so on. Just add the scale. And the quality.
The scarcity will enable yourself to feel more. And at the end will make you to give more. Like for blind people, they can feel things other (not blind) people cannot feel. Or fasting people, will experience and capture more intense and valuable meanings about many things that other people would not.
So scarce yourself. Create your own threat and insecurities. That way you can always be creative, productive and inventive. Live up! :)
